About Plum Market
Plum Market is where you'll find the very best of natural, organic, and specialty selections-with a ton of local items-in a full-service shopping experience.
Located at 17801 Biscayne Blvd, Aventura, FL 33160, Plum Market operates as an asian grocery store serving Aventura in Florida. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.
The business lists hours on 2 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8 AM–10 PM. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Plum Market at (786) 692-5450; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, plummarket.com.
Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 568 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded asian grocery stores in Aventura.
Aventura is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Aventura is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Plum Market is by far the best grocery store in Miami Dade county and probably in Florida. The bar isn't set that high here to begin with compared to like California with more unique Local independent grocery stores. I can compare it to Lazy Acres in Southern California. There is no private label here.. They carry Niman Ranch meats, Loch Duart Salmon (you can taste the difference), And Dartagnan Pasture Raised Chicken (They use to carry Marys Organic chicken) which i thought was better. Nevertheless very high quality stuff. The store is pristine when you walk in, they source as Local as you possibly can here in South Florida with unique items you wont find any where else. People will complain about prices but this really is a experience when shopping here and if your into that sort of thing theres no place in South Florida that compares. Theres a large variety of fresh press juices bottled in glass (Blackberry/sage one is insane). The attention to detail is something i can appreciate and pay more for.. for example their hot bar has all the calories, macro nutrients, and ingredients listed on the tag so you know what your consuming. If i had a complaint/suggestion it would be regard

Mr. Francisco, the manager at the flower station, is so helpful—what a great guy! As a guy, picking the perfect flowers for a woman can sometimes be really tough. He asked about my situation, totally understood it, and went above and beyond with advice, education, and support—thanks so much, Francisco! Thanks to you, I didn’t just make my girlfriend happy—I was also able to brighten her sister’s day while she’s recovering in the hospital. Thank you so much, Princess—and thank you so much, Plum Market!

I go to Plum because it has the best team and cuts of meat I can find locally. Whether it is Francisco, Heaven, Marco or Dylan, I know when I approach the counter, I’m going to receive guidance and assistance to select the best cut of meat or fish. Patricia always helps by finding a good mix of seafood. But the best moments are when I place large orders for my favorite beef flanken ribs for special events. I look forward to speaking with Bill and Anthony who are as enthusiastic about the meat, marbling and cut as I am. The team brings an energy that makes the experience. And, I see this energy with other customers which is why I think it is the best place to buy meats.

Today, a very unpleasant situation occurred in this supermarket, which left me with an extremely negative impression of the service. I purchased a plush toy as a gift. At the checkout, the employee who was packing the purchases started interacting with my 8-month-old daughter and, without my permission, handed her the toy. After that, she removed the manufacturer's tag from the toy on her own initiative, without even asking me. When I asked why she had done that, the employee asked whether it was a gift. I replied that it was. She simply smiled and said, “It’s okay,” while handing me the detached tag. I asked her to restore everything to its original condition, since the toy was intended as a gift. Instead, the employee simply attached the tag back with a stapler. This solution was completely unacceptable to me. When I said that I wanted the toy in the same condition it had been in before her interference, I was told that it was impossible. I asked for a refund, but in response I received only laughter. The employee took the toy and walked away smiling. It was the last toy of its kind in the store, so because of someone else’s carelessness, I was left without my purchase. What

Despite having a great variety of unique produce, I had a bad experience with being overcharged. The displayed price of the item did not match what the cashier charged me. I complained to the store manager and got my refund, but this is a waste of time and money for me. This should not be happening. However, it has happened to me a few times, and this time I wanted everyone to know to be careful and always check your receipt and the prices displayed on the produce before you pay. I was charged $12 for something that was displayed at $4.99 a pound. I consider this stealing
